Fiji
In late 2007 Newcrest signed a joint venture agreement to explore in the Namosi region of Fiji. The Namois tenement is located about 30 km west of Fiji’s capital city, Suva. Work will focus on investigations into the existing Waisoi deposit and discovery exploration over the remaining tenement.
Americas
Newcrest's current exploration activities extend beyond Australia and Indonesia to both North and South America, with exploration teams operating in Colorado and Nevada.
