Employee Share Plan
A share issue equivalent to $1,000 is offered to eligible staff after 12 months of service.

Salary Sacrifice Options
We offer a flexible salary packaging structure that includes the option of salary sacrificing a novated lease vehicle, making additional superannuation contributions and using pre-tax salary to purchase a laptop computer.
Salary Continuance
Through the Newcrest Superannuation Plan, we offer salary continuance cover whereby if injury or illness prevents you from returning to your normal duties after a period of 90 days, you will be paid, subject to conditions, a monthly income equal to 75% of your TEC until recovery or for a maximum period of 2 years.

Paid Maternity Leave
After 12 months continuous permanent employment, staff are entitled to take a maximum of 52 weeks' Parental Leave, where they are the principal care-giver to a newly-born or newly-adopted child. Maternity leave is paid for the first 14 weeks of leave. Newcrest is at the forefront of the industry providing generous benefits to its employees in this regard.
